Department of Management Sciences was started during 2007. The department has well experienced faculty. Three faculties have doctorate degree. The department is headed by Dr.A.Nirmalraj.The Department aims at producing new breed of managers with a positive attitude, global outlook and cross functional expertise to effect the change. A meticulously planned curriculum, Pedagogy and delivery system transform the students in to change agents and make them to shoulder responsibilities in a dynamically changing environment.

The department has signed MoU with IIBF and encouraged many students to do the certificate course which qualifies them to undertake managerial position in banking sector. The department has served consultancy for Acurus solutions and KITCO. The department has conducted many programs in association with MMA, Business Line Club, and Economic Times Club for benefits of students in their respective domains. The department laboratory is well equipped with 60 computers, 5 printers and 2 scanners. The Laboratory is installed with SPSS, TORA, TALLY, Visual Basic, and Oracle for the beneficiary of students which would help them to enhance their statistical and analytical skills.

The students are placed in top notch companies like HDFC, TCS, Infosys, Federal Bank, etc with maximum salary of 6.5 Lakhs per annum.
